Candles should always be enjoyed safely and under the proper supervision. To get the most out of your candle(s) and safely enjoy them, follow the important safety information below:
- Trim the wick to 1/4" tall before each burn to keep your candle clean.
- Properly dispose of any wick trimmings and/or matches to keep your wax pool clean and free of debris.
- Only burn your candle on heat-resistance surfaces.
- Always burn your candle within sight and never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep your candle away from things that may catch fire.
- Keep your candle away from pets and/or children at all times.
- Allow the candle to burn long enough to reach the edges of the container to prevent tunneling.
- Avoid burning your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
- Avoid burning your candle in a drafty room.
- Discontinue use of your candle when only 1/2" wax remains in the bottom.
- Always extinguish a candle before leaving the room.
- Extinguish your candle properly. Never use water or any other substances to put out the candle flame.
- Once extinguished, allow the wax of your candle to harden before moving, touching, or relighting.
Candle safety is extremely important. Be sure to follow the guidelines above every time you use your candle.
